About Hope Academy Hope Academy was started in 2000 to address the urban crisis through offering an academically rigorous, faith-based education to inner city youth.We now serve hundreds of inner city youth in grades K-12 with a disciplined and rigorous education from a Christian worldview, using the tools of classical education.
We are located in the heart of the Phillips neighborhood and serve an incredibly diverse student body (approx. 50% African-American, 20% Latino, 20% Caucasian, 10% Native American and other).
