What Families Are Saying

"I like how parents are involved in their children's schooling. The school makes [sure] parents understand that they need to be actively involved in their child's education... we feel very blessed to have a chance to send our boys there."

Ways to Give

Pray for Hope

There is no greater way to give to Hope Academy than to pray for our school: the students, families, teachers, and for our continued faithfulness to the mission that God has given to us.

Volunteering

We greatly benefit from regular volunteers who are interested in offering weekly reading assistance, supervision, or other volunteer opportunities. Volunteer needs are updated regularly on our volunteer page.

Wish List

View our wish list here and see if you items to donate. If you have other ideas, don't hesitate to call.

Donating to Hope

Become a Supporter - Supporters provide one-time and/or recurring gifts to help provide inner-city youth with a Christ-centered education. Small recurring monthly gifts of $10, $25, of $100 go a long way.

Become a Partner (Sponsor a Student)- Nearly two-thirds of our school's funding comes through generous individuals, churches, and foundations that partner with an individual student by providing a sponsorship of $5,000 or more. Read more about it here.

Be a Boaz Partner - To serve our growing student body, we will need one-time gifts totalling between $400,000-$500,000 in each of the next six years. Boaz Partners commit to provide a gift of $50,000-$150,000 in one or more of the next six years. Learn more here.

Stock Transfer

If you'd like to give a gift through a stock transfer, here is the info you'll need:
RBC, Account #303-79053 (DTC # is -0235)
Call Heidi for assistance at 612-371-7980, or e-mail her at Heidi.Schenk@rbc.com.
(The stock will be immediately sold, and money wire transferred to Hope Academy.)

Hope Endowment

Established in March 2009, the purpose of the Hope Endowment is to help donors leave a legacy for the youth of inner city Minneapolis. Contact the Development Office if you are interested in including a gift to the Hope Endowment in your will. Our partnership with the Twin Cities Christian Foundation helps us facilitate gifts of non-liquid assets, real estate, and/or business interests. (Note that some restrictions do apply for named endowment funds.)

Small Ways to Give

Target Take-Charge-of-Education: Enroll in Target’s REDCard program and a portion of your purchases can go directly to Hope Academy. Learn more about the program at www.target.com/tcoe. Our school ID is 125697.

“100,000 give $5 drive”: In February of 2009, we launched a Facebook drive called the “100,000 give $5 drive”. You can read about it here. And help spread the word!

Donate Your Car: Through a partnership with Cars With Heart, you can now donate your car to Hope Academy. Approximately 60% of the sale price will go directly to helping inner city youth receive a God-centered education at Hope Academy.

Purchase "Spirit Wear" on-line: Through a partnership with prepsportswear.com, you can order Hope Academy clothing and have it shipped directly to you. Approximately 7% of every purchase goes directly to Hope Academy. Visit the store here.
