 My name is Trez.
I have been back with my mom for five months now--I never though we would be back together, and it is such a blessing.
At this time I’d also like to ask Christopher Rush to stand. Chris has been my spiritual mentor to me these last six months, and he is like a dad to me.
I have been a student at Hope Academy only three months, but it has been awesome. Things are different for me here in three important ways:
First, I am getting better grades. The work is harder here, but I regularly go to what is called our academic support center here before school. I love it, and I get so much help with understanding my school work.
Second, I am making friends. I was bullied at my other school and was tempted to get into the wrong crowds, but here the other kids are pointing me in a good direction, and God is helping me be a light to others as well.
Third, God is giving me a vision for serving him. My kingdom dream is that I would like to be a pastor some day, like Mr. Gillespie. I want to preach the Good News of Jesus with my neighbors.
