Low-Income Guidelines
To stay true to our mission, we require that more than 70% of our student body come from families that qualify for "free or reduced lunch" as determined by federal guidelines (see details below).
To help maintain this balance, we have put into place the below income guidelines for admission to Hope Academy (subject to change).
We encourage families who don't meet our low-income guidelines to explore the many other Christ-centered schools throughout the metro area.

Does our family qualify for Federal Guidelines?
Please review the grid on page 2 of this 2011 Federal Register. Please note that "income" is defined as "income before any deductions such as income taxes, Social Security taxes, insurance premiums, charitable contributions and bonds." (For this example, in 2011, a household of four must make about $41,000; add (or subtract) about $7,000 for more or less household members).
In addition to the above income guidelines, other criteria are considered including.
1) Application & Parent Covenant: Families must complete an application, and the Parent/Guardian must commit to signing and upholding our Parent Covenant (this includes committing to attend all parent/teacher conferences and three other school events.)
2) Academic/Behavioral Readiness: In most circumstances, your child must be approved for admission through either a one-on-one assessment to determine academic readiness (grades K-5), or through an academic exam (grades 6-12).
