How to Enroll

NOTE: Currently, we are only enrolling New Families in our Lower School that meet our low-income guidelines (please review our admission requirements page).

You may contact Lisa CasaDeCalvo, Director of Admission, at 612-721-6294 ext. 103 or lcasadecalvo(at)hopeschool.org to inquire about openings, grades K-12. We also welcome interested parents and their child to attend an open house, or come take a tour of the school.

Application

Interested families must complete our K-5 Application for Admission. (Note: both applications require a $25 non-refundable application fee).

Enrollment Process

1. Come in for a tour, then fill out and turn in the appropriate Application (see above).

2. In grades K-5, a one-on-one assessment will be conducted by a teacher to determine academic level and readiness. Beginning in grade 6, students take a Admission Exam to determine academic readiness.

3. If the assessment/exam goes well and your child is approved for admission, you will have a New Family conference to discuss our parent covenant, and where your 'family share' tuition amount is determined.

4. To reserve your student's spot, you will be asked to pay the first month's tuition (non-refundable)

Assistance in both English and Spanish is available in filling out the application. Students will be accepted on an on-going basis throughout the spring on a first-come basis.

Orientation

Each August, we have an open house orientation for parents. At this meeting we will look over the Hope Academy handbook, the bus rules, an overview of our approach to discipline, and parents will be asked to sign all necessary paperwork. You will also have a chance to ask questions.
